Pride: Special Month-Long Menu | The Little Scarlet Door X The Queer Brewing Project
22 Jun 2022
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Pride in London, newly opened Soho bar, The Little Scarlet Door on Greek Street, has partnered with The Queer Brewing Project for a special month-long menu. Everyone’s invited!
From 22nd June – 31st July, the Queer Beer Pride Pop-Up at The Little Scarlet Door is serving up a special range of eye-catching pint-sized cans including Tiny Dots, Existence As A Radical Act and Glitter Veil – guaranteed to kick start festivities! £1 from each beer sold will be donated to support the vital work of LGBTQ+ youth homelessness charity, AKT.
With live DJs and interiors that take a cue from New York’s iconic loft apartments and a bold colourway of reds, pinks, greens and neon; this is Soho to its core. The ultimate house party in the heart of London, it’s made for all-inclusive celebrations – explore the myriad areas one would expect to find in a home from the kitchen doubling up as the bar – complete with scarlet Smeg fridge –
through to the living room and tucked-away vault for private gatherings. There’s even a laundry room, mezzanine bedroom and a shower complete with a giant rubber duck that’s crying out for your Insta feed.
Alongside the Queer beer specials, there’s a whole host of innovative cocktails from perfect party sharers like Dirty Dancing with Rekya vodka, Passoa, passion fruit and prosecco served in a disco ball, and Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas – a big rum punch bowl for 10+ through to innovative concoctions like the tequila-based Bohemian Rhapsody and Mirabeau pink gin Kiss Kiss Bang, garnished with lips candy.
The Queer Brewing Project was founded by Lily Waite in 2019 to provide visibility for LGBTQ+ people in and around beer and to raise money for vital LGBTQ+ charities. After recognising a significant lack of LGBTQ+ community in the beer world, Lily set out to change that by working with UK-based, and then international breweries, to take up space in the industry typically dominated by heterosexual, male voices.
The Little Scarlet Door – look out for the bright red door on Greek Street and join the house party!
