The Perfect Night’s Sleep at Pan Pacific London
06 Mar 2023
To coincide with World Sleep Day on 17th March, Forbes Travel Guide 2023 Five-Star Rated Hotel Pan Pacific London, is launching the Sensory Sleep Programme. This revolutionary new experience has been designed to ensure a truly blissful night’s sleep, and considering 1 in 5 people in the UK aren’t getting enough sleep*, it couldn’t come at a better time. With hotel guests spending on average 8 to 12 hours per day in their hotel room, a good night’s sleep is a fundamental necessity and something that Pan Pacific London is taking seriously.
Exclusively available in the hotel’s beautiful suites, the Sensory Sleep Programme features a plethora of sleep-boosting amenities, beginning with a customisable bed, alongside a range of additional services to enhance relaxation, from yoga and meditation to luxury bath products as well as expert-recommended food and drink options.
The right bedding can make all the difference, so Pan Pacific London has devised the perfect set up to optimise sleep quality, using 300 thread count 100% cotton linens. Guests can also experience the revolutionary Ooler Sleep System by Chilisleep, leaders in sleep innovation. This custom-designed programme features a regulated system which can be adjusted from 13 to 46 degrees according to individual body temperature and to ultimately enhance sleep. Proven to soothe stress and anxiety for a deep restorative sleep, a Mela weighted blanket is also provided alongside a Pillow Menu featuring different styles, fillings, thicknesses and firmness according to personal taste.
For the ultimate indulgence, Pan Pacific London offers a bath service, upon request, in which guests are able to have a myriad of accessories set up in their bathroom to prepare them for an optimised sleep. Research has shown that people who bathe or shower in warm water 1 to 2 hours before bedtime fall asleep faster and experience significantly better quality of sleep, so this is a simple nightly ritual that can seriously improve sleep quality. You can also choose to upgrade your bath experience with add-ons such as a glass of champagne, a bowl of fresh strawberries, or even a 60-minute body or facial massage before your bath to help you truly disconnect and wind down.
Additional complimentary sleep booster services include in-room yoga, with a mat provided as well as a guide on the five best poses to help sleep better and relax at bedtime (Waterfall, Happy Baby, Twisted Root, Butterfly Fold, Child’s Pose). An extensive inventory of reading materials is also available, suitable for adults and children, as studies have shown that settling in with a book before bed helps reduces stress and ensure a better night’s sleep.
Offering a truly 360-degree approach to sleep, Pan Pacific London has even devised a food and beverage service to utilise ingredients known to aid in rest and relaxation. A selection of snacks and hot drinks – specifically recommended by nutritionists and sleep experts – are available to order via room service from 9pm to 11pm nightly. Offerings include chamomile, peppermint, ginger & lemon and Hunan green tea, as well as light healthy bites, such as a pure almonds nuts, walnuts and pumpkin seeds which are known to aid a good night’s sleep.
The Sensory Sleep Package will be available to book from 17th March 2023 for stays until 31st December 2023, with prices starting from £645 https://www.panpacific.com/en/hotels-and-resorts/pp-london/offers/sensory-sleep.html
