WHAT TO DO | New Parisian Tea Clubs at Mariage Frères ☕️

This April, Mariage Frères – the world’s most exclusive purveyors of luxury tea with a 165-year heritage – is bringing its renowned French Tea Club to Covent Garden so guests can sip in style à Paris! Offering a detailed introduction to tea tasting – at a level not seen in London before – the masterclass series will showcase a wide range of blends, varieties, tasting notes and sweet and savoury food pairings.

Hosted in Mariage Frères’ King Street emporium every Saturday at 10am from 2ndApril, The French Tea Club will see intimate groups of guests taken on an hour-long tasting journey of up to ten of Mariage Frères’ Icône® teas from the brand’s extensive range of over 1,000 blends, expertly led by a Tea Master and a Tea Sommelier. Each Tea Club will cover different blends, from Mariage Frères mythical selection of Earl Greys to the limited-edition Sakura, Sakura! ®. Alongside the tea tasting, guests will be able to indulge in two tea-infused Petits Gâteaux.

Open to a maximum of 12 participants per session, guests will receive an exclusive 10% on purchases made in store* and those booking a class in spring can take advantage of the introductory price of £45 (usually £55).

And that’s not all! Mariage Frères will also be offering an all-new concept, The Paris Tea Club. Inspired by the masterclasses, guest can book this experience Monday to Wednesday and enjoy a leisurely afternoon tea that showcases Mariage Frères’ signature Cuisine de Thé. Enjoy two savoury amuses bouche before indulging in Parisian Scones and plethora of pretty-as-a-picture, delicate tea-infused sweet treats including Petits Gâteaux alongside a selection of Thés Icônes® served in traditional Art Déco pots. The Paris Tea Club will have a special launch price of £29pp (usually £34) and will be available from the 4th of April.
