To mark the start of summer, the InterContinental London Park Lane’s Wellington Lounge has collaborated with the world’s leading purveyors of fragrances since 1770, Yardley London, to create a ‘Scents of Summer’ Afternoon Tea, available from 14th June.
Taking place in the elegant surrounds of the hotel’s lounge, which overlooks Buckingham Palace Gardens, start the journey with savoury options such as Chilled sweetcorn & chives bisque inspired by Yardley London’s Traditional Floral Lily of the Valley to Lavender smoked halibut rillettes, created based on Yardley London’s Classic EDT.
Tempting treats include Blueberry and English lavender, Cherry blossom pouched peach tart and Champagne and freesia cube cake, all inspired by Yardley London’s floral collection.
Each guest will receive Yardley London’s modern classic English Lavender Eau de Toilette (50ml) and a set of the brand’s Contemporary Range Eau de Toilette vials when visiting.
Tea connoisseurs can choose from an extensive list of premium teas from the East India Company, with over 20 blends and infusions from across the globe, including the No. 1 Park Lanebespoke blend. Or guests can opt for a tipple from a curated list of wines and cocktails, along with fizz from top Champagne houses including Ruinart, Veuve Clicquot and Dom Pérignon.
