Down Hall Hosts Charity Summer Ball in Memory of Jade Goody | Thursday 21st July

On Thursday 21st July, Essex country house hotel Down Hall will play host to a very special charity Summer Ball in memory of the late Jade Goody, raising money and awareness for the Trust for Complementary Cancer Rehabilitation, which raises awareness of cervical cancer whilst offering support to women living with the disease in the UK.

Hosted by Jade’s late husband Jack Tweed – who is the lead trustee of the charity – and her sons Bobby and Freddy Brazier, the event will begin at 7pm with a drinks reception and live piano performance by the talented Chloe Barry, before guests sit down to enjoy a delicious three-course meal in the Bridgeman Suite. Poignantly, the ball takes place in the very hotel where Jack and Jade got married.

Hosted by TV presenter and personality Mark Wright, the evening will feature live performances from TOWIE’s James Argent and The Arg Band alongside singer Tia Pearman, with a set from international DJ Colin Francis closing out the night in style. There will also be a raffle and live auction with all proceeds donated to the Trust for Complementary Cancer Rehabilitation.

Tickets cost £125 per person and include a three-course meal and welcome drink, with all proceeds going to the charity.
