Try something new this spring at The Gurkhas, an innovative modern Nepalese restaurant opening on Great Portland Street (11th April) with a generous 50% off food on 11th & 12th April to celebrate. With Head Chef Joe Allen – whose wife is Nepalese, and father-in-law a Gurkha – at the helm, the restaurant promises a culinary adventure across Nepal, using modern interpretations on recipes inspired by the heritage of the Himalayas. Designed for sharing, highlight plates include Kukura ko Jhol Momo (steamed chicken dumplings in a tomato and soybean soup); Makai ko risotto with butternut squash; and Mutton Sekuwa with onion and coriander. There will also be a six-course tasting menu (£75) with picture-perfect dishes from start to finish.

Get ready to witness Cher on her matchmaking misadventures at Beverley Hills High School alongside a menu of six innovative dishes and drinks, all cleverly inspired by well-known quotes from the movie. From Chicken Mousse Ballotine and Cinnamon Pretzels to Tequila Sunrise and DIY ‘Like a Virgin’ cocktails, you’re in for a treat honey!
