On Saturday 12th November, transport yourself to the high-flying world of The Wolf of Wall Street and head to leading cocktail bar and restaurant – The Refinery City Point by Drake & Morgan (Moorgate, London) – for an immersive dining experience like no other. Created in partnership with interactive food & film specialists, Taste Film, indulge in seven specially created dishes and drinks served at precise timings to complement the movie’s iconic scenes.
No sense is more evocative than taste, so experience the Hollywood cult classic through a new perspective and live the lavish lifestyle of Jordan Belfort (Leonardo DiCaprio) as he navigates the rise and fall of the US stock market. Experience pure indulgence with all-American dishes including luxurious Lobster & Truffle Mac & Cheese, served alongside cocktails (and even a ‘lemmon’ shot!) to reflect the glitz and glamour of Manhattan’s dining scene, with a sprinkling of debauchery!
Begin by sipping on a French Martini, echoing Belfort’s famous demand for two Absolute Martini’s – “I like ‘em straight up”, followed by dishes inspired by the movie’s scenes at sea, such as a Cheeseburger Slider with Deep-Fried Parsley, and Tuna Carpaccio. Experience a sweet high with a trio of citrus desserts inspired by the movie’s infamous Lemmon ‘ludes’, including a Lemon Meringue Pie, Posset & Tart. Round off the meal with the ultimate ‘upper’ and ‘downer’ – an Espresso & Almond Martini – to carry on the party.
