Rudy’s Vegan Diner and Rudy’s Vegan Butcher, London / Nationwide
Rudy’s Vegan Butcher, the UK’s first permanent meat-free butcher is coming to town, just in time for the start of World Vegan Month (November). Opening on Islington’s Upper Street on 1st November, the shelves will be stocked with Rudy’s famous dirty burger patties, pastrami, cheeze sauce and chilli as well as brand new cold cuts – think thinly sliced layers of salty ‘ham’ and spiced ‘salami’. It’s not just for Londoners baby – customers across the UK will be able to order the whole range of Vegan Butcher meats online, alongside an extensive range of plant-based deli products, to enjoy at home.
Creams Café, Nationwide
The UK’s leading dessert café brand, Creams is famed for its fabulously flamboyant desserts and sweet treats. Celebrating all things vibrant, colourful and fun, come and enjoy some tempting plant-based treats this World Vegan Month. Vegan menu highlights include the vegan chocolate waffle, a freshly cooked waffle served with chocolate sorbet and topped with chocolate and caramel sauce, chopped nuts and mini marshmallows; the vegan mango sundae, served with two scoops of mango sorbet, sliced mango and topped with mango sauce and coconut shavings; and finally a vegan sliced strawberry cookie dough, a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie dough, topped with sliced strawberries and drizzled with chocolate and strawberry sauce.
The Cinnamon Collection, London
Vivek Singh and his modern Indian restaurants across The Cinnamon Collection are plating up for the planet with innovative and vibrant plant-based dishes and an incredible vegan tasting menu. Cinnamon Kitchen outposts in the City, Battersea and Oxford, and Covent Garden’s Cinnamon Bazaar, all serve deliciously spiced vegan dishes such as baby aubergines in sesame tamarind sauce, Aloo Gohbi, bhel papdi, and samosa chaat with curried chickpeas. Go all out with The Cinnamon Club vegan menu for £35 per person, including sprouted green moon pancake with Jerusalem artichoke, crisp courgette flower with tamarind glazed vegetables, roti fresh from the tandoor and a saffron poached pear with sago and pineapple payasam and plum sorbet.
PAUL Bakeries, London & Oxford (available from 3rd November)
New for 2020, The Vegan Sprout Sandwich (£4.45) is a delicious twist on a vegan roast dinner. Complete with roasted Brussel sprouts, spinach, sliced beetroot with balsamic vinegar and thyme, and a crispy potato rösti, topped with vegan mayo and sweet onion marmalade, all served in a classic white baguette, it’s a must-try. Launching on 3rd November and available until 31st December, the limited-edition Christmas sandwich range will be available in all PAUL shops, to eat-in and takeaway, as well as on delivery platforms including Uber Eats and Deliveroo.
Revere Country Pubs, Nationwide
For a countryside escape, Revere Country Pubs has launched its new winter menus of warming and hearty plates, available across each of its bespoke country pubs. Catering for all, the menu features a delicious selection of vegan dishes, from Spiced Carrot Bhajis with a kachumber salad and coriander chutney, and a Butternut Squash & Chickpea curry, ending on a sweet note with a Chocolate & Coconut Torte. For a lighter bite, go for one of the refreshing salads, including Tossed Rainbow Salad with chargrilled radicchio, roasted peppers, beetroot, baby gem lettuce, torn croutons and a sherry vinaigrette.

Making sure everyone can enjoy the flakiest of pastries with their morning coffee, Carluccio’s breakfast range includes the Croissant Vegano and Saccottini al Cioccolato, freshly baked in-store every day. For a winter main, Carluccio’s Veganese is a flavourful alternative to the classic Chicken Milanese, made with plant-based escalope in rosemary breadcrumbs served with charred tenderstem broccoli, sweet & sour peppers, raisins, flaked almonds, basil and chilli mayonnaise.
