Pull Out The Stops This Valentine’s With Limited-edition Sharing Menu At Hot Stone
27 Jan 2022
Looking to bring a little sizzle, luxury and decadence to the most romantic time of year? Executive Chef Padam Raj Rai of critically acclaimed Hot Stone, in Islington, has created the limited-edition Impress Menu, complete with a decadent Wagyu and Kobe beef sharing platter for the Valentine’s weekend, available lunch and dinner from 12th-14th February.
Served on a showstopping sharing platter, the exclusive menu begins with a glass of Champagne and starters of fresh oysters and tuna tartare with crispy rice, followed by an assortment of Chef Padam’s award-winning sushi and sashimi including his signature Chapel and wagyu sukiyaki maki rolls, new-style seared salmon and fatty tuna sashimi, and a classic ten-piece sashimi box served with five-year aged Kamebishi soy and freshly grated wasabi.
The main course pulls out all the stops with the arrival of the volcanic rock hot stones. Sear at the table on the 400°C sizzling stones and enjoy a selection of premium grade Japanese and olive-fed Yorkshire Wagyu alongside tiger king prawns and the certified rare Kobe beef. As one of just eight restaurants in the UK to have Kobe on menu, say it with something a little more extravagant this year. Finish with delightful desserts of mochi ice-cream and matcha cheesecake.
Priced at £150pp, pescatarians are also well catered for with the Impress Menu with fish alternatives of 48-hour marinated grilled black cod and crunchy Hot Stone rolls. Notice must be given two days in advance to the booking by telephone or email.
Available for groups of two or four, go above and beyond this Valentine’s at Hot Stone Islington.
