Leave the indulgences of Christmas behind and kick start your morning with an honestly healthy breakfast at Sky Garden.
Darwin, the cool and casual brasserie 155 metres above London on the 36th floor, has teamed up with Natasha Corrett, one of the UK’s top vegetarian chefs and co-founder of Honestly Healthy, to bring early risers a nourishing and delicious bowl of caramelised coconut and cinnamon pear porridge.
Exclusively available in January and February and priced at £9, give your body the boost it needs with Natasha’s recipe of perfectly cooked gluten-free porridge oats in naturally sweet rice milk, topped with cinnamon infused pear cubes, coconut-infused pear slivers and a sprinkling of flaked almonds.
Not a porridge fan…fear not, there is something for everyone on the delicious breakfast menu created by rhubarb, the renowned food experts. Tuck into other guilt-free dishes including Severn & Wye smoked salmon, scrambled eggs and toasted rye bread; smashed avocado on toast with poached eggs and tomato and chilli salsa; or an omelette with York ham or mushrooms.
Wash your breakfast down with quality coffee and a selection of vitamin-packed smoothies such as the Broccoli & The Beast, a revitalising mix of broccoli, mango, banana, pineapple, spinach & celery; Kale Kick with kale, spinach & mango; or the Detox-Zing featuring ginger, blueberry, carrot, courgette & banana.
Those who’d prefer to retox rather than detox can satisfy their cravings with Darwin’s breakfast buffet which is filled to the brim with tempting treats and warming dishes, alongside healthy options. Rejoice in the views and leave feeling full and ready to take on whatever January throws at you.
