At the heart of one of London’s most significant new housing-led developments, Kidbrooke Village in South East London, lies a new all-day dining pub, The Depot. Designed with the area’s new community in mind, The Depot is open for breakfast right through to dinner and everything in between. With lots of areas and a place to plug-in and connect, the developments’ residents now have the ideal spot to meet with friends and family, work or host a meeting.
Floor-to-ceiling windows, elegant lighting, natural wood and exposed brickwork have been used to create a bright and welcoming contemporary pub. Banquette seating, bar stools and more traditional dining areas create an environment that caters for all occasions; from a quick pint and a pie to a three-course meal, whilst the outdoor terrace area is a great place to unwind and soak up the summer sun.
Food and Drink
The menu features seasonal British food made with impeccably sourced ingredients, from bountiful sharing boards to superfood salads and classic pub favourites. Kick off your mornings in style at The Depot with breakfast served from 8am Monday-Saturday. Classic egg dishes and a full English sit alongside toasted crumpets, corn beef hash and a host of healthy options. Pop-in and enjoy with your morning newspaper or hot-desk, simply plug-in and connect.
The all-day dining menu features exciting flavour combinations including vegan and vegetarian options such as wild mushroom, roast squash and asparagus wellington and the ‘Depot garden board’ sharer. Impeccably sourced fish takes centre stage with the Skippers Catch alongside a classic Young’s beer battered fish and chips with mushy peas and a smoked haddock, salmon and cod pie.
Sundays are big at The Depot with a selection of roasts, including a vegan dish, all served with roast potatoes, unlimited double egg Yorkshire puddings, maple roast carrots & parsnips, sprouting broccoli, smashed swede and lashings of gravy, along with an option of bottomless Bloody Marys.
Paying homage to the area’s rich RAF history, cocktails are all named after RAF aircrafts, including a Spitfire Old Fashioned, Passion Fruit Bomber and a Bristol Bombay Negroni. Alternatively, opt for The Depot signature, selected each week by the General Manager, Chris.
Staking its claim as the hub of the new community, The Depot has plenty of regular events, including Tuesdays’ Build Your Own Burgers, Thursday quiz nights and live music evenings.
A landmark regeneration deserves a landmark local and The Depot is a pub set to be the heart of the new community.
