It’s all change at the 44-bedroom hotel, pub and restaurant, The Park in Teddington, courtesy of new owners, Young’s and an extensive refurbishment.
The grand Grade II listed building has been sympathetically renovated – original features have been meticulously restored and luxe furnishings introduced. A number of versatile bookable spaces and intimate cosy corners have been created along with a new-look stylish snug, buzzing bar and elegant restaurant.
Young’s award-winning ales take pride of place at the bar alongside London-brewed craft beers, an extensive range of premium spirits, a botanically infused cocktail list and an expertly curated wine list. Head for the semi-private Snug with its welcoming fireplace and, with a dedicated team member on hand, it’s ideal for casual drinks, parties and informal gatherings.
The Parlour restaurant, fresh from the magnificent makeover, is an elegant all day-dining space bathed in natural light, featuring vibrant furnishings and eclectic artwork. Open for brunch, lunch and dinner as well as a quintessentially British afternoon tea, Head Chef Toby Leigh’s menu takes inspiration from the kitchen gardens of nearby Hampton Court Palace. Seasonally-changing dishes simply burst with the very best of British ingredients, many sourced from local producers. Opening on the evening of 15th March, The Parlour restaurant is now taking reservations – book now to avoid disappointment via www.parkhotelteddington.com and be amongst the first to experience this beautifully fashioned restaurant.
Alongside The Park’s 42 comfortable hotel rooms, three new stylish feature rooms have been added to the Main House. Escape the ordinary with these stunning suites – ‘Osborne House’ is beautifully themed around the Hampton Court’s Great Vine whilst ‘Valentine’s Mansion’ features a majestic chandelier and decadent roll top bath. Each is exquisitely designed with luxe finishes and textiles, brand new bathrooms, Hypnos beds, Nespresso coffee machines, plus crisp cotton linen and big, fluffy towels.
Close to the railway station with direct links to London and less than a mile from the beautiful Bushy Park and Hampton Court Palace, The Park is destined to become a social hub for locals as well as visitors to the area.
Pop in for a pint, a cocktail, light lunch, afternoon tea, a delicious dinner or book an everyday escape. The Park really does have it all.
