This June, luxury country house hotel Down Hall will welcome ‘Cook Love,’ a new concept from long- standing Michelin-starred, London restaurant, Pied à Terre. Popping-up on 15th and 16th June, during LIVE AT DOWN HALL with Jools Holland and James Morrison, Cook Love is a casual offshoot of the acclaimed modern French restaurant that brings dishes featuring the UK’s freshest produce combined with Michelin star pizzazz.
Having launched in February at London street food market, Dinerama, this will be Cook Love’s first pop up outside of the capital. Uniquely, components of dishes will be cooked in an oil drum BBQ to create a smooth and smoky flavour. Guests can feast on the likes of BBQ lamb cutlets with Tzatziki (£10), scallop ceviche (£8), and Cacio e Pepe: spaghetti with pecorino cheese and cracked black pepper (£5).
Cook Love is an exciting addition to a fantastic line up of luxury exhibitors set to wow concert-goers at the highly anticipated weekend of music, which will see Jools Holland and His Rhythm & Blues Orchestra perform on the 15th June and James Morrison take the stage on 16th June.
Cook Love is in great company, as guests will also discover a bar dispensing the likes of Champagne Devaux, Aviation Gin and Pimm’s, alongside ice cold beers on tap. Look out for sweet treats from Down Hall’s local partners with Gü Puds from Bishop’s Stortford and the award-winning Rossi Ice Cream, created by the father of music legend, Francis Rossi. There to keep concert-goers feeling and looking good is the Eden Spa Therapy Tent, providing express treatments throughout the weekend.
Offering a range of packages, from admission-only through to the Ultimate VIP Overnight Experience, Live at Down Hall is one summer event you don’t want to miss.
