Having secured himself a place in this year’s Great British Menu Final, Executive Chef Kerth Gumbs is set to launch an exclusive six-course tasting menu at Ormer Mayfair from 17th September, which features all of the dishes he cooked on the show.
Kerth wowed the nation, and the judges, with his creativity and intricate flavour combinations and now diners are invited to experience his inventive dishes firsthand. The six-course menu, priced at £95 per person, is inspired by children’s literature and features dishes such as the ‘Three Little Pigs’, honey glazed pork loin & cheeks, with bacon, celeriac lasagne, artichokes and truffle; ‘Commotion in the Ocean’, lobster with coconut, cauliflower and cockles; and ‘The Folk of the Faraway Tree’, textures of blackberry, chocolate, sea buckthorn and buckwheat. A vegetarian tasting menu is also available for £85 per person, as well as the option to add wine pairing for £79 per person.
Kerth was part of the ‘London & South East’ regional heat of Great British Menu and was crowned the winner of his category.
