On Wednesday 27th September, six chefs from leading restaurants including The Jugged Hare, Duck & Waffle and Temper, will come together for a one-night-only dinner, to mark the launch of Goatober, a month-long celebration of billy goat meat.
Led by Cabrito, in collaboration with ETM and its leading game restaurant The Jugged Hare, the dinner will take place at The Montcalm Royal London House Hotel, home to ETM’s rooftop restaurant and terrace bar, Aviary, all-day café Burdock and newly opened Long Arm Pub & Brewery.
Priced at £95 per person, the chefs will be serving their goat-inspired dishes as part of an exclusive six- course tasting menu, which opens with a Black Cow cocktail reception at 7pm, followed by dinner with expertly paired wines from ETM’s Head Sommelier Gui Mahaut. Tickets include a £10 charitable donation to Action Against Hunger, and can be booked here.
A charity auction, hosted by journalist and food writer, Joe Warwick, will follow dinner with all proceeds going to Action Against Hunger, an international humanitarian organisation committed to ending child hunger around the world.

Headed up by Cabrito, Goatober encourages the nation to try this delicious but much under-used billy goat meat. Restaurants across Britain will be supporting Goatober by putting innovative goat dishes pride of place on their menus throughout October.
Tom Martin, co-founder of ETM comments: “The Jugged Hare, famed for its game dishes, has always urged diners to step out of their comfort zone and try lesser-known meats. We’ve been serving Cabrito goat for years and it’s great to see it becoming more and more popular. Last year’s launch dinner at The Jugged Hare was so over-subscribed that, to meet demand, we are delighted to have been able to move it to a much larger venue.”
Goatober celebrations are set to continue throughout the month of October at restaurants across the UK.
