In a couple of weeks TV personality and two Michelin-starred chef Raymond Blanc’s renowned secret garden restaurant – Jardin Blanc– will open its doors for RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2019. From Tuesday 21st – Saturday 25thMay, Jardin Blanc will once again be the premium hospitality experience and hot ticket for London’s must-visit show. There are still tickets left, so don’t miss out.

A true feast for the senses, Jardin Blanc is filled with outstanding plants, stunning sculptures, Champagne, botanical cocktails, live music and un-paralleled menus, all designed by Raymond Blanc and inspired by springtime’s glorious produce. Enjoy the Chelsea Late – an evening of live music and entertainment in the Ranelagh Gardens. This year Chelsea Late will feature music from London’s world-famous jazz club Ronnie Scott’s, as their legendary Big Band perform with guest singer, Iain Mackenzie.

His legendary attention to detail shines through every facet of Jardin Blanc, from how the guests are welcomed at the entrance to the design of the garden rooms, restaurant spaces and bar, artist’s installations and, of course, the creation of the all-important menus. Whether guests are at Jardin Blanc for the amazing afternoon tea, or to enjoy a whole day, they all experience the very best in hospitality courtesy of Raymond and the entire team.
Although Raymond is very much the inspiration behind the event, the support of specialists from his team at Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons help deliver the highest quality experience from morning to evening. Adam Johnson, Head Development Chef to Raymond Blanc, brings Raymond’s ideas to life and motivates the chef teams alongside Sodexo’s Executive Chef, Ben Dutson.
Sodexo is responsible for delivering the concept; from the delivery of the design of the garden and dining rooms, to the involvement of various contributors. Sodexo oversee the design and build of the garden rooms and gardens, with Andy McIndoe (25 consecutive Gold Medal winning exhibitor at RHS Chelsea Flower Show) providing artistic direction. For the week of the event at the Royal Hospital Gardens in Chelsea, Sodexo provide all staffing and training, both back and front of house, from chefs and kitchen porters to hostesses and bar staff. Sodexo also provide marketing support and sales functions for Jardin Blanc. Sodexo has a long-standing relationship with the RHS and has worked at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show for over 30 years.
Royal Horticultural Society
The RHS Chelsea Flower Show is organised by the Royal Horticultural Society which was founded in 1804. The show has taken place within the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea since 1913. Now in its 106thyear it has firmly established itself as the world’s most famous flower show and is one of the ways that the RHS funds its charitable activities.
