Luxury private members’ club Home House has launched a limited-edition sugar-free afternoon tea to coincide with the publication of Baking Without Sugar by the club’s Executive Chef, Sophie Michell. Baking Without Sugar has already become a bestseller, reaching number 1 on Amazon’s Food & Drinks list. The afternoon tea, launching this month is full of decadent sweet treats, that are low carb, higher in protein and gluten free.
Ascend Home House’s iconic Adam’s Imperial staircase and take a seat in the elegant neo-classical Drawing Rooms. Start with a selection of gluten-free finger sandwiches, before indulging in scones with clotted cream, homemade raspberry sugar-free chia jam and sugar-free lemon curd. Finish on a perfectly sweet note with sugar-free chocolate and raspberry ganache cake, mandarin and rosemary mousse and passionfruit meringues. Add a chilled glass of Moët & Chandon for £45.
Served from 3-6pm and priced at £34 per person, the menu has been specially designed by Sophie for Home House and will include a range of delicate sugar-free treats from Baking Without Sugar.
Afternoon tea is available to members, private event bookers and overnight guests. Rooms start from £296 for non-members – reservations can be made via 020 7670 2000 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
