Last week (4th February) saw Heliot Steak House scoop, for the second time, the prestigious Best UK Casino Restaurant at The British Casino Awards 2020. This was one of three awards picked up by The Hippodrome with the casino also taking home Independent UK Casino Operator of the Year for the third consecutive year and Overall Casino Operator of the Year.
Located inside The Hippodrome, Heliot Steak House, led by Executive Chef Ioannis Grammenos, offers an unrivalled selection of great value 28-day aged USDA prime steaks, available in nine different classic cuts, alongside a unique aspect overlooking the UK’s busiest casino gaming floor.
Executive Chef of Heliot Steak House, Ioannis Grammenos, says: “What a night! A hat trick for The Hippodrome. We are incredibly proud to collect this award for a second time and it reflects the hard work and dedication of the front and back-of-house teams who provide a fantastic dining experience to all our guests”.
The British Casino Awards, organised by Casino International publisher Datateam Business Media in association with The National Casino Forum (NCF), is designed to benchmark and champion excellence across the gaming sector.
CEO and Chairman of The Hippodrome Casino, Simon Thomas says: “These Awards are voted for by our peers and to pick up three gongs is truly humbling and a testament to the incredible team here. Every member of staff at The Hippodrome puts the customer centre stage and is great that this has been recognised, I couldn’t be prouder of the team, every one of them is a winner”!
