Back and better than ever, Harringay Arms has had a full makeover and is welcoming Crouch-Enders again, with artisan tipples, tasty food and a lively atmosphere that makes this pub a real home from home.
RAISE A GLASS
Beer drinkers will be well looked after with well-kept cask ales, refreshing lagers and an impressive craft selection from the Tap Room, including London Brewing Co Upright IPA, Lagunitas, Meantime All Day IPA and others on rotation. Take some ginspiration from the pub’s list of the juniper spirit, where artisan gins are perfectly paired with Fever Tree tonics or mixed into creative, seasonal cocktails. Let the fun beGIN!
GET A PIZZA THE ACTION
Bespoke bases and Italian ingredients are the order of the day with a delicious selection of stone-baked pizzas. Creative options such as Salmon (hot smoked salmon, poached eggs, béchamel, capers and lemon oil) and Caesar Chicken (pulled chargrilled chicken, garlic butter, parmesan and prosciutto) as well as the ‘Build Your Own Pizza’ alternative will hit the spot. Lighter dishes include flavoursome salads, from Pork (prosciutto crudo, spianto romana, rocket and roquito pepper pearls) to Sun-Blushed Vegetables (chargrilled butternut squash and buongusto onions), as well the option to ‘Create Your Plate’. Desserts include Nutella and Peanut Butter Brownies and Raspberry Ripple Ice Cream Sundaes.
A perfect blend of traditional and playful, Harringay Arms has kept much of its original décor. The wood-panelling bar sits beside exposed brick and chalk boards. Cosy banquettes in black leather and vibrant blue surround distressed wood tables and a metallic board covered with alphabet magnets will fill you with nostalgia about those times you left secret messages to your siblings via the fridge door. Weekends come with a soundtrack courtesy of the resident DJ and lazy afternoons and evenings can be spent on the all-weather courtyard, where the not-so-secret garden has been given a tasteful makeover.
With a cosy and inviting new interior, selection of great craft beer, wine and spirits, and a delicious new menu of fresh pizza and salads, every Crouch End local will welcome this pub back with open arms.
