Celebrate Wimbledon, the most prestigious tennis tournament in the world, at Down Hall Hotel & Spa this summer. From the Friday 30th June to Sunday 16th July, the luxury hotel will be bringing tennis to your table with the launch of its Wimbledon Afternoon Tea.
HIT THE COURTS
Grab your racquet and spend a tennis-filled day at Down Hall Hotel & Spa. Challenge your friends to a friendly match on one of the newly resurfaced tennis courts, surrounded by 110 acres of beautifully manicured gardens and woodland. Afterwards, unwind in the sauna or steam room, before indulging in a quintessentially British Wimbledon-themed Afternoon Tea.
WIMBLEDON AFTERNOON TEA
The Wimbledon Afternoon Tea includes everything you need after an afternoon on the courts. Served on the outdoor terrace or in the comfortable lounge, tuck into warm buttermilk scones with Devonshire clotted cream and Tiptree preserves alongside delicate finger sandwiches including smoked salmon, cream cheese and chives, honey roast ham with wholegrain mustard mayonnaise and hen’s egg, mayonnaise and watercress. Satiate sweet cravings with Wimbledon-inspired cakes like classic strawberry tart, slices of pistachio and vanilla Battenberg or white chocolate cheesecake with Pimm’s jelly, all served up on a mini tennis court. Sip on a selection of teas or order a glass of Pimm’s for an additional £5.
The Wimbledon Afternoon Tea includes complimentary use of the tennis courts and access to Down Hall Hotel & Spa’s gym, steam room and sauna for £25 per person or £12.50 per child. Tea will be served between 2pm and 5pm in the drawing room or on the terrace and bookings are available from Friday, 30th June to Sunday, 16th July. Down Hall Hotel & Spa is the perfect match to celebrate Wimbledon this year!
