Champagne at the ready to toast to the end of restrictions, finally! Popping corks across London, Searcys will be going large to celebrate the country’s grand unlocking by supersizing Champagne serves throughout the summer. From 19 July to 31 August, guests dining at St Pancras Champagne Bar by Searcys, and Searcys at The Gherkin will receive double the bubbles with a complimentary upgrade to a magnum bottle*of Champagne, alongside enjoying new seasonal menus and tasting dinners.
End lockdown with bubbles and breathtaking city views at London’s original sky-high restaurant and bar, Searcys at The Gherkin, with all-day menus showcasing the best of British produce, alongside an extensive list of Champagnes and wines on the top levels 39 and 40. Dine with a bottle of the iconic Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial and receive double the fizz with a magnum.
July also sees the arrival of the Summer Sunset Series at the Gherkin; a collection of tasting dinners running from Saturday 24 July, and every Friday evening throughout August**. Priced at £119, guests will be greeted with a welcome cocktail, before taking a seat to watch the sunset over the capital while delving into a five-course dinner of seasonal dishes, paired with two glasses of wine.
Alternatively, celebrate Le Grand Unlock at the iconic St Pancras Champagne Bar and Brasserie by Searcys. Meet with friends under the arches of the station and take a seat at Europe’s longest Champagne Bar, or in one of the leather private booths, complete with Press for Champagne buzzers. Revel in summertime delights from the new menus, created by Head Chef Colin Layfield, including Chilled Isle of Wight tomato soup with aged balsamic vinegar; Whole Lemon Sole with Jersey Royals, capers and parsley butter, and a Cherry delice with pistachio ice cream. Pair with a bottle of organic Drappier Carte d’Or Brut, and the bar will upgrade to a magnum pour.
Magnums will start popping for the Grand Uncork from Monday 19 July, available at both Searcys at the Gherkin and St Pancras by Searcys from lunch to dinner every Monday-Thursday. To receive the complimentary upgrade, guest must pre-book to dine at The Gherkin with a bottle of Moët & Chandon Impérial Brut, or for St Pancras with a bottle of Drappier Carte d’Or Brut.
