The Strawberry Menu at The White Swan, Fetter Lane
Strawberries have become synonymous with Wimbledon feasting and The White Swan have dedicated an entire menu to this much-loved summer fruit. Incorporating strawberries in both savoury and sweet dishes, the restaurant will be serving the limited- edition specials throughout the Championships, including: chilled heritage tomato and English strawberry soup with Cornish crab and basil oil (£7.50); pan fried Brixham brill with pickled wild strawberries, courgette flower and shellfish broth (£22); and Kentish strawberries with strawberry and pink peppercorn jam, fennel and Chantilly cream (£6) to finish. The White Swan will also be screening the matches downstairs in the pub area.
