Fenchurch, the refined dining restaurant located in the clouds at level 37 of Sky Garden, has launched a new innovative à la carte menu from recently appointed Head Chef, Michael Carr. Combine this with panoramic views of London and this is a truly elevated dining experience.
Michael Carr, former Great British Menu contestant and previously Head Chef of Michelin-starred restaurant, The Box Tree in Yorkshire, brings his impeccable training, highly honed cooking skills and culinary flair to Fenchurch. His exciting modern British menus feature innovative and experimental dishes characterised by playful presentation and explosive flavours.
Embark on your culinary journey with delicious starters such as Loch Fyne hot smoked salmon, oyster emulsion and watercress dressing; sautéed veal sweetbreads with cumin yoghurt and minted shallots; beef tartare, English mustard, avocado, zhoug dressing and smoked leek; and new season watermelon, burrata curd, candied walnut, and golden raisin.
Perfectly plated mains include Peterhead cod, native lobster, parsley, kohlrabi and beurre noisette hollandaise; and 30-day aged rib of beef, braised cheek, bone marrow, carrot purée and thyme jus. A tempting choice of sides, from dauphinoise chips with freshly grated truffle and Madeira mayonnaise to charred broccoli, wild garlic pesto and chilli dressing are also on offer.
Pretty as a picture desserts come in the form of tiramisu with dark chocolate and mascarpone; banoffee caramelised banana with puff pastry, toffee mousse and bay leaf ice cream; and a balsamic crème caramel with English strawberries, meringue, and cardamom yoghurt sorbet.
Fenchurch Restaurant is open every Thursday to Sunday for lunch and dinner and will be open for dinner on Wednesday from 6th October.
