Autumn is upon us, and with it comes the launch of a brand-new foodie experience at five-star The Club Hotel & Spa, located in St. Helier, Jersey. Experience a taste of all that the island has to offer with a unique foraging tour followed by a tasting lunch or dinner at Michelin-starred Bohemia.
Perfect for foodies and adventure-seekers alike, the day begins with a luxury car transfer to Jersey’s west coast, where you’ll be met by renowned local guide and foraging expert, Kazz Padidar and taken on a two-hour foraging trip. Discover some of the island’s most stunning spots and gather wild produce and ingredients, from herbs and mushrooms inland, to seaweed and shellfish along the coast.
Next up is to present your foraged finds back at the hotel to Callum Graham, Head Chef of Michelin-starred Bohemia. He and his brigade will incorporate all your gathered ingredients into a delicious seven-course tasting menu for a forest-to-fork experience like never before. Each menu will vary dependent on the foraged ingredients, but expect the likes of sea bream tartare with char-grilled bream sauce, lemon, garlic, Rock Samphire and seawort; or local Brittany turbot with Jerusalem artichokes, black truffle, chicken jus and sea beets.
Priced at £349 for two people, £549 for four people, or £699 for six people, tours are available from 10am-12pm and 11am-1pm followed by lunch, or from 4pm-6pm and 5pm-7pm followed by dinner. Tours must be booked at least one week in advance.
Make a night of it with a stay in one of The Club Hotel & Spa’s luxurious bedrooms or suites, with rooms starting from just £119 per night inclusive of breakfast and VAT.
