Has Tier 2 got you in tears? Worry not, Drake & Morgan has just saved your social life with the re-opening of its cosy heated terraces dotted around the Capital, where you can drink and dine al fresco with up to five of your friends or family! They’re also launching a new Merry Weekender bottomless brunch from this Saturday, so you can celebrate the run-up to Christmas and the end of lockdown in style.
From tomorrow (2nd December), head to The Happenstance on Paternoster Square and cosy up on its all-weather Japanese Winter Garden terrace created with premium whisky portfolio, The House of Suntory. Relax under the canopy of frosted maple leaves and twinkling lights as you sip on festive cocktails like the ‘Christmas Mar”tree”ni’ and the ‘You Can’t Catch Me I’m the Gingerbread Man’ from the limited-edition Merry Martini menu. Or, venture east to an enchanted woodland forest at The Sipping Room’s Essence of Winter Waterside Terrace, West India Quay. Escape from the concrete jungle and pull up at pew inside one of the cosy igloos, adorned with twinkling fairy lights, lanterns and frosted winter foliage.
Further Drake & Morgan terraces opening tomorrow include: The Allegory, Refinery Bankside, Refinery New Street Square, King’s Cross, Devonshire Terrace, little Fable, The Moniker and The Parlour.
