Hatha, Ashtanga, Vikram, Bikram are all so yesterday, there’s a new style of yoga sweeping the capital – DOGA – yoga with your pooch that takes the downward dog pose to a whole new level!
Taking place in the tranquillity of the private Gallery Room and curated by professional instructor Manhy Djahanguiri, DOGA is a human yoga practise that helps support and strengthen the natural bond between owner and pet. It is also known to calm dogs and is particularly useful for injured, elderly or obese pooches.
After bonding with your mutt, it’s time for brunch. From virtuous to sinful there’s a fantastic range of dishes from chef Wolfe Conyngham. Choose from eggy favourites such as smoked salmon and scrambled eggs; sourdough topped with smashed avocado and poached eggs or woof-down sweeter dishes like Scotch pancakes with whipped mascarpone and berries or French toast with maple syrup and crispy bacon. Enjoy with a healthy Chia Fix smoothie of chia seeds, coconut yoghurt and pineapple to help detox and rejuvenate, or choose to re-tox with a refreshing Summer Spritz of Aperol, prosecco, rose syrup and cucumber.
DOGA will take place from 10.30am followed by brunch at 12pm. The £35 tickets cover one person and dog* and include the class, one brunch dish, a cocktail or smoothie and doggy treats. Spaces are limited so book your place by calling the events team on 020 7229 1503.
Book now – you’d be barking mad to miss out!
