AFTERNOON TEA, BAUBLE COCKTAILS AND SEASONAL MENUS AT ST PANCRAS BY SEARCYS
A festive afternoon tea in a suitcase, cocktails in Christmas baubles and seasonal menus are on offer at St Pancras Brasserie and Champagne Bar by Searcys.
Revelries begin with the new festive afternoon tea, featuring a selection of savouries and sweet treats of cranberry and orange eclairs, blackberry macaroons and a festive Battenberg, served in a stylish suitcase from £39 per person, whilst in the elegant, Art Deco brasserie, it’s all about seasonal classics of Norfolk Bronze turkey with all the trimmings and a Searcys Christmas pudding with brandy custard, alongside a dedicated vegan offering of Butternut squash risotto and a gooey Chocolate brownie with Amarena cherries (£37 for three courses).
Known for their extensive range of champagnes, you can expect a sparkling Christmas at Europe’s longest Champagne bar. Check out the Insta-worthy Sparkly Bauble, a mix of Bramble Bombay gin with pear purée, vanilla, topped with Searcys Selected Cuvée Champagne and finished with a dash of edible glitter in a bauble glass.
FESTIVE PARTIES, TEA AND HIDDEN CELLAR BAR AT 116 PALL MALL
At 116 Pall Mall, expect a musical Christmas with two spectacular nights celebrating the roaring twenties on 22nd and 23rd December for groups from 10 people. Enter to the grand staircase, framed by two spectacular 14ft trees, before heading to the venue’s stunning Carlton Room which will be transformed into an Art Deco playground complete with DJs. Enjoy a welcome glass of fizz and three-course dinner before dancing the night away from £116 per person.
For a more restrained affair, enjoy a festive afternoon tea in the Morning Room, served every weekend with a selection of savouries including a Smoked turkey rillette with Cumberland relish and Hot smoked salmon quiche, while for fizz-tastic celebrations, head downstairs to London’s newest Champagne Bar at 116 Pall Mall by Searcys, for champagne cocktails alongside London’s largest selection of magnums.
AN ITALIAN CHRISTMAS AT OSTERIA
Modern Italian restaurant, Osteria, in the heart of the Barbican, is offering a three-course menu from £38.50 per person. Dish highlights include a Star anise and orange cured trout with artichoke purée, lime and sea vegetables, a Seared turkey roulade served with smoked salsify purée, fig, and chestnut compote, and Porchetta with cauliflower purée, redcurrant, and almonds, ending on sweets of Caramel panna cotta with homemade gingerbread and a light Chocolate mousse with a limoncello parfait and coco nibs.
At the Negroni Bar, the signature red drink takes a festive twist with a Winter spiced Negroni, a blend of spiced infused Bombay Sapphire gin with Martini Riserva Speciale Rubino and Bitter vermouth and garnished with orange and a cinnamon stick.
A GOLDEN CHRISTMAS IN THE SKY AT THE GHERKIN
Celebrate in style sky high as Searcys at the Gherkin’s Helix Restaurant and Iris Bar get ready to open its doors for limited days across December with a golden takeover in partnership with Moët Chandon.
The restaurant and bar, on top levels 39 and 40, will be transformed into a glittering gold paradise with statement Christmas tree and golden wrapped bar and honeycomb patterned tables. Pop the bubbles from an extensive selection of Champagnes, or sip away on a festive tipple such as boozy Santa Claus with white chocolate liqueur, spiced rum, Frangelico liqueur, Amaretto, and vanilla, served in its own milk bottle. For elevated dining, the restaurant will be serving seasonal lunches and dinners – with Searcys signature Smoked salmon with horseradish crème fraiche, dill pickled cucumber and Exmoor caviar, Norfolk bronze turkey breast with all the trimmings or Crispy gnocchi, with roast heritage cauliflower, cauliflower, and truffle purée, from £75 per person for three courses.
