Cinnamon Kitchen’s iconic powder paint-pelting pop-up returns to the City for its sixth residency to celebrate the Indian festival of colour, love and positivity. From Monday 2nd March – Sunday 15th March, #HouseofHOLI returns to Devonshire Square, just off Liverpool Street, bringing a dose colour and unadulterated joy to the Square Mile.
The perfect antidote to a stressful day in the office, workers can escape the concrete jungle, kick off their inhibitions and don a protective white suit for a half hour of colourful powdered paint pelting.
All that play is sure to fuel an appetite and, as no Indian celebration would be complete without a feast, Cinnamon Kitchen will be serving up a range of delicious Holi-inspired snacks and small plates or head for the pop-up bar on the terrace for an array of vivid HOLI cocktails. And that’s not all…
Vivek will also be throwing open the doors to his kitchen on 14th March with a one-off Holi Masterclass, priced at £225 per person. Led by Vivek, the intimate hands-on class of 12 will explore the traditional and modern Indian cooking methods involved in creating the colourful snacks and street food often served during this celebratory festival.
Holi Supper Club & Play
Vivek will also host an exclusive Holi Supper Club & Play session on 5th March. Join him in the House of Holi and work-up an appetite in the pod before enjoying a feast of ten traditional Holi dishes in Cinnamon Kitchen’s private dining room. The dinner plus 30-minute session in House of Holi is limited to 30 guests and is priced at £45 per person.
Holi itself officially takes place on 10th March, announcing the arrival of spring and the passing of winter. World-renowned for its free-for-all carnival of colours and iconic paint fights, Holi brings together family and friends to laugh and play, forgive and forget and to celebrate love and friendship. The only rules about Holi is that there are none, so let your hair down, grab some paint and have fun.
Play Holi tickets are priced at £12 per person, or alternatively the House of Holi pod can be privately booked for £250 per session, for up to 25 players. Tickets will be available to purchase via DesignMyNight.
