This year, pioneering fine-dining Indian restaurant, The Cinnamon Club, celebrates its 20th anniversary and, to mark the occasion, Executive Chef Vivek Singh is hosting a very special birthday dinner on the 25th May.
Joined by long-standing Cinnamon Club alumni, including Head Chef Rakesh Nair and Operations Manager Hari Nagaraj, Vivek will host a special celebratory evening featuring champagne and canapés followed by a very special eight-course tasting menu.
The beautifully crafted menu has been designed to takes diners on a culinary journey spanning two decades of the restaurant. Vivek and his team will share the stories, anecdotes and memories associated with each signature dish including carpaccio of home cured Shetland salmon with mustard caviar and curry leaf snow; clove smoked Anjou pigeon with pumpkin and peanuts; and special slow braised lamb shoulder with nutmeg and fennel sauce.
Fine wines will accompany each course, carefully chosen by sommelier Laurent Chaniac, and guests will get to take home one of Vivek’s cookbooks at the end of the evening.
