On Saturday 7th November, Kerth Gumbs, Great British Menu 2020 finalist and Executive Chef of acclaimed restaurant Ormer Mayfair, will be hosting a spectacular one-off immersive woodland feast as part of the Nomadic supper series.
Held in a secret location in Buckinghamshire, within an hour’s commute of London, Kerth’s ‘Guy Fawkes Foraged Feast’ is a unique four-hour dinner experience inspired by locally sourced, seasonal ingredients.
This alfresco adventure will begin when guests are transported to the middle of a beautiful 90-acre woodland where they will be greeted by the Chef and host, as well as a welcome drink crafted using some of the wild botanicals that grow on the land. This is followed by a socially-distanced guided tour of the sprawling estate by the resident forager where guests are invited to pick ingredients for their meal before its cooked on an open flame in the middle of the woods.
After the delicious four-course lunch, of which the menu is kept a secret*, guests can take their seat around the stone fire pit, at least two metres away from other guests, and take in the sun set before an impressive firework display begins.
Tickets to the ‘Guy Fawkes Foraged Feast’ cost £90 and include a welcome cocktail, canapes, a guided foraged tour of the woodland, four course feast and herbal teas. Maximum group booking of six people.

Guest safety is of top priority at all Nomadic events, and strict precautions have been put in place in line with current government guidelines. All staff will be required to wear PPE, temperature checks will be carried out on staff and guests, hand sanitiser will be available on all tables and upon arrival, there is a maximum of six guests in any one booking and groups will be seated at least 2 metres apart from other guests. In the unlikely case that the lunch has to be cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions guests will be offered a full refund or the opportunity to rebook any future event.
