Set against the dramatic backdrop of London’s glittering skyline, Sky Garden, 35 floors above ground level, is the only place to be seen this New Year’s Eve. Wildly creative catering and events operator rhubarb is on hand to deliver the capital’s most memorable night. With two stunning dining destinations and a show-stopping Great Gatsby party that will take you past the chime of midnight and into the small hours, it’s set to be the most extraordinary party of the year.
Immerse yourself in the 1920’s decadence and glamour of The Great Gatsby and dress to impress with the flair and style only seen at those flamboyant Long Island soirées. Wear smoking jackets, faux furs and velvet shawls to add to the glamour and keep warm, until the dancing starts, in the beautiful, naturally-ventilated garden. With plenty of sparkle, ruffles and feather headbands, dance the night away with live music courtesy of Juke Joints and J and The Rest plus Sky Garden’s DJ spinning the decks until 2am.
Kick off the celebrations with a beautiful dinner with unparalleled views over London. Diners at the cool and casual Darwin Brasserie can choose from two sittings, 5.30pm and 9.00pm. Guests will be swept up to the 36th floor to indulge in a delicious four-course dinner and a glass of Champagne for £165 for 5.30pm tables, or £255 second sitting bookings with all-night Sky Pod access for those wishing to roll on into the New Year at the Sky Garden Party.
For a truly exquisite experience, the elegant Fenchurch Restaurant on the 37th floor is offering a beautiful seven-course menu of the very best seasonal ingredients, complete with two glasses of the finest Champagne for £325. Outstanding dishes will include: Turbot, lobster, leeks and sea herbs as well as Sirloin, foie gras, truffle and spinach. After dinner, guests can also enjoy breath-taking views of the fireworks show across London, with exclusive use of the private Fenchurch terrace.
Sky Pod Bar entry tickets are £95 and private tables can be booked in advance from £145 per person. Both options include a celebratory welcome drink on arrival.
The Great Gatsby – a novel about the pursuit of pleasure, opulent parties and wild music – opens the pages at Sky Garden this New Year’s Eve.
