Family-owned Hampshire winery Hattingley Valley is proud to announce it has secured three trophies for its Kings Cuvée at the WineGB Awards 2020.
The 2014 vintage was awarded Best Classic Cuvée Vintage; Vintners’ Trophy for Top Sparkling Wine 2020; and Winner of the Gore-Browne Trophy for Supreme Champion 2020, positioning it as the best sparkling wine in the UK this year. Hattingley Valley also scooped two silver medals for its still Rosé 2019 and its Classic Reserve NV.
Awarded by Co-Chairs Susie Barrie – Master of Wine, Oz Clarke – OBE and wine writer, and Rebecca Palmer – Wine Buyer for Corney & Barrow; the Hattingley Valley Kings Cuvée attained the prestigious three trophies for its supreme-quality vintage, premium blend, structure and complex finish.

Established in 2017, the WineGB awards showcases one of the world’s most exciting wine regions and is judged blind by the highest calibre of judges and competition partners. Accepted as the most renowned competition in the UK for Great Britain’s wines and producers, to win a trophy represents the pinnacle of success.
A total of 17 trophies and 245 medals were unveiled at this year’s awards, with Hattingley Valley Kings Cuvée leading the ways as Supreme Champion. The award marks an impressive distinction for Hattingley Valley, which boasts an array of over 100 medals, 13 trophies and three Best in Class.
