Start your Savage Tea with daring savouries and prepare yourself for an attack on the senses; dishes will include sweet potato sliders filled with coriander yogurt, spicy peanut crumb and red onions; rare roast beef with fiery wasabi sandwiches; and smoked chicken and Korean ketchup tacos with spring onions, chillies and sesame seeds.
Savage scones – loaded with clotted cream and strawberry jam – follow, before a dramatically dark finale of black tea choux cake, cherry and coconut lamingtons and dark chocolate crémeux spheres. Afternoon Tea, but not as you know it.
Indulge your wildside and add some G to your tea with wicked gin cocktails such as the Forbidden Fruit (£16), mixed with Hendrick’s gin, apricot brandy, amaretto, lemon, sugar and grapefruit bitters. True savages can turn the afternoon up a notch with the Twisted Lady, a sharing cocktail of Hendrick’s gin, lemon, elderflower, rose liqueur and Ayala Champagne, priced at £35 for four people.
Afternoon Tea will be available seven days a week from noon – 4pm and is priced at £35 per person. Celebrating a special occasion? Add a glass of Ayala Brut Majeur Champagne and enjoy the tea for £45pp.
Bookings can be made via Bookatable
