Adding a touch of refined elegance to your lunchtime, fine-dining Xier in Marylebone has launched a brand-new lunch à la carte offering, that is sure to surprise and delight even the most discerning of foodies, and all within your lunch hour.
Giving guests the chance to sample Chef Owner Carlo Scotto’s exciting flavour combinations and theatrical dishes – aside from his 10-course evening tasting menu – the new menu is available Wednesday to Friday from 12 – 2.30pm. Offering a choice of three or four courses – priced at £35 and £45 respectively – Chef Carlo has curated an innovative and exquisite menu, that is set to take your lunch break or business meeting to the next level.
Impressive and unexpected plates include his signature rose cured salmon with foie gras, mandarin, hazelnuts and apple; and black cod in caramel miso with mashua, lardo, red beans, leeks and fresh herbs. New seasonal dishes on the menu, such as scallops with cured duck, clementine, apple, hazelnuts and soya dishi; and crispy pancake with carrot jam, coconut yoghurt, and orange and cinnamon granite feature, are also on the new dinner 10-course tasting menu, for those looking for the full gastronomic experience.
When it comes to dessert, guests can enjoy either Swedish cheese with Chef Carlo’s house made jam and pain d’epices; or ‘sweet pleasure’ – a delicious and beautiful chocolate sweet treat.
